Terms of Service

Last updated: April 3, 2026

1. Operator

DocsAura is operated by Spectrum Flare sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland (hereinafter "we", "us", or "the Company"). By using DocsAura you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DocsAura is an AI-powered document generation platform. You provide input (text, voice notes, images, screenshots) and the Service generates professional HTML documents. Documents can be edited, exported, and shared via unique links.

3. Accounts & Workspaces

You may create an account to access paid features. Each account belongs to a workspace. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are displayed before checkout.
  • Each paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused credits do not roll over.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload and the documents generated from it. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

6. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

To deliver the Service we share data with the following third-party providers:

  • Anthropic (Claude API) — your prompts and uploaded content are sent to Anthropic's AI models to generate documents.
  • Supabase — document metadata, user accounts, and generated HTML files are stored in Supabase (database and object storage).
  • Stripe — payment processing. Your billing details (name, email, payment method) are handled directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and request processing.
  • Browserless — server-side browser rendering for PDF export and format validation.

Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We select providers that maintain appropriate security standards but are not liable for their independent actions.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use DocsAura to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Share account credentials or resell access without our written consent.
  • Circumvent usage limits or security measures.

8. Intellectual Property

The DocsAura platform, brand, templates, and UI are owned by Spectrum Flare sp. z o.o. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our platform without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties (AS IS)

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated documents will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated content may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing all output before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill.

The Company's total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the amount you paid for your subscription in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) 100 USD.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be submitted to mediation. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may bring proceedings before the competent court in Poznań, Poland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
